The Gingerbread Man
Last week we baked some gingerbread cookies
and today Nikki told us a story about the gingerbread man.
ONE DAY AN OLD WOMAN DECIDED TO BAKE
A GINGERBREAD MAN. SHE PUT THE GINGERBREAD MAN
IN THE OVEN TO BAKE.
WHEN SHE OPENED THE OVEN DOOR THE GINGERBREAD MAN
JUMPED UP AND RAN OUT. "STOP" THE OLD WOMAN YELLED.
BUT THE GINGERBREAD MAN RAN EVEN FASTER, CHATING:
"RUN, RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN.
YOU CAN'T CATCH ME I'M
THE GINGERBREAD MAN!"
A FOX HELPED THE GINGERBEARDMAN ACROSS THE RIVER.
"JUMP ON MY NOSE" THE FOX SAID.
THE FOX FLIPPED THE GINGERBREAD MAN INTO
THE AIR AND ATE THE GINGERBREAD MAN.
AND THAT WAS THE END OF THE GINGERBREAD MAN.

Morning Meeting With Kipo
This monday we all learned some new words.
Kipo had brought these new pictures on our morning meeting.

| Ja 4-5-vuotiaiden ryhmä tältä. Iloisen näköistä porukkaa! |
Tällä viikolla jatkoimme värien harjoittelua muun toiminnan lomassa
ja kasasimme yhteiset väritaulut. Samalla opettelimme
myös lukumäärien laskemista englanniksi.

| Ja tältä näyttivät valmiit tuotokset. |
Lisäksi tutustuimme väreihin kirjojen avulla.

Toinen ryhmä puolestaan tutustui väreihin Floppys Colours -kirjan kautta.
Lisäksi isommat pelasivat autopeliä, jossa tietyn värisiä autoja
sai ottaa omalla heittovuorollaan nopan silmäluvun verran.

Tänään aamupiirillä kertailimme eilen opettelemiamme värejä pelin avulla.
Ja tulipahan tuossa samalla opeteltua muutamia muitakin sanoja.
Aamupiirin jälkeen ryhmämme alle 3-vuotiaat halusivat vielä pelata lotto-peliä yhdessä.

Tällä kerralla opettelimme yhdessä värien nimiä.
Ensin etsimme jokaiselle värille oikean nimen.

| 3-vuotiaiden värit: Yellow, pink, blue, red, green and purple. |

| 4-vuotiaiden värit: Black, orange, red, blue, yellow, purple, green and pink. |
...Ja sitten askartelimme omat väritaulumme.

3-vuotiaat pääsivät tutustumaan väreihin ja eläimiin myös kirjan kautta.
